I dont know why the iPhone gets such a bad rap as the latest fad. In fact it is my pick for most effective time saving device. It has streamlined my life. I work with engineers all day whose main job is the cut time down in processes and in the physical steps it takes to do something. This is called "Lean". Time equals money so the fewer steps involved, especially travel time, the more time = money is saved.
Out having coffee and need movie times? Its GPS will locate all the closest theaters and allow you to purchase tickets. Now you know how long you have to finish that coffee. At a play and remember you had to send that important e-mail? No problem. Get in a dispute and need to look up the name of the actor playing James T. Kirk in the new Star Trek flick? IMDB him right then and there. Booyah. No matter where you are the iPhone is the most user friendly way onto the net and it is in your pocket. I value my time like money so everytime i dont have to make that trip back across town i thank God. Then I thank Apple, haha. If you dont have one yet the new one is out in another month or so, get it!
